Trump and Modi Discuss Reliable Partnership in First Call: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to US President Donald Trump on the phone on Monday. Trump took over as the US President on January 20. This is the first time he has spoken to PM Modi after this. There has been a discussion on strengthening mutual relations between the heads of state of the two countries.
PM Modi has informed about talking to Trump on the phone through a social media post. He said, “It was a pleasure to talk to my dear friend, US President Donald Trump. I congratulated him for his historic second term. We are committed to a mutually beneficial and reliable partnership. We will work together for the welfare of our people and global peace, prosperity, and security.”
