Uttar Pradesh’s Daughter Made her Mark in China, Won Bronze Medal

Sushma SinghSaharanpur’s men and women gave outstanding performances at the Invitational World Suhai Xiao Championship in Baoding, China. Saharanpur’s Sushma Singh took home the bronze. By placing fifth, Harshit Bindal also brought honor to the city.

China’s Baoding city hosted the Invitational World Suhai Jiao Sports Championship from October 23 to 27. Two athletes from Saharanpur also competed for India, according to Joint Secretary Kuldeep. Sushma Singh took home the bronze in the women’s division for the 65 kg weight class. Harshit Bindal put on a fantastic performance and took fifth place in the 60 kg weight division.

Players from 35 countries reportedly took part. In this championship, Pradeep Tyagi became the first international referee from India. Pradeep Tyagi teaches physical education at Sushma Pinewood School and Asha Modern School. Sahib Pal, Piyush Mittal, Puneet, Kuldeep Tyagi, Shivam, Anshul, and others offered their congratulations during this time.
