India vs Pakistan (asia cup 2023)

In the third match of the Asia Cup 2023 between India and Pakistan, rain became a villain and spoiled the entire match. After winning the toss, India decided to bat first and did not lose any wicket in the first four overs, but when the game resumed after the rain, India got a big shock, and in the fifth over, Rohit Sharma scored 11 runs, and Virat Kohli was on 15 runs in the fifth over. He became Shaheen Afridi’s victim after scoring four runs. Shreyas Iyer left the pavilion after scoring 14 runs, and Shubman Gill scored 10 runs. In this way, India’s score became 66/4. After that, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya took charge, and thus India completed 100 runs in the 20th over. Ishan, batting in a more aggressive manner, completed his seventh ODI half-century in 54 balls. And supporting him, Hardik also completed his 11th ODI half-century.

Both the batsmen added 138 runs and made the biggest partnership for the fifth wicket for India in the Asia Cup 2023, but this partnership was broken by Haris Rauf, and Ishan Kishan was out after scoring 82 runs in 81 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes. Hardik continued to bat brilliantly but got out after getting close to his century. Hardik Pandya played a brilliant inning of 87 runs in 90 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six. Later, on the score of 242, Ravindra Jadeja (14) and Shardul Thakur (3) scored useful 16 runs as the seventh and eighth wickets and were out as the last wicket on the score of 266. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took a maximum of four, while Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took three wickets each.
